The best local talent. The best local cuisine. That was the simple marriage that got this “little company that could” going. “We knew that people wanted MORE, expected MORE. And we wanted to give it to them”, chimed Tammy Wilkinson, TDJ Artistic Director.

So they set out to combine the best interactive shows with the best venues in Central New York including The Eis House, GS Steamers and The Barnes Hiscock Mansion and bring theatre to the masses and much, much MORE!

Hollywood style photo booth and local musicians would make for a cocktail hour fit for a celebrity. A kick off party if you will, to the evenings festivities! Patrons can mingle, network, hobnob and unwind from their lives and then settle back for an evening of fine dining and entertainment.

Collaboration was the name of the game and TDJ set out to partner with the best in town on all accounts! They currently have a perfect partner in Nellica Rave for their photo booth at the venues. “She is a pro and engages the patrons with lovely themed back drops and props to play with. We adore this feature and we hope our patrons feel like they are at the party of the year”, added Wilkinson.

Local music was another must in the quest for MORE and TDJ aspires to work with our regions’ amazing artists! They have showcased Dan Williams, the Oswego Valley Snowbelters Chorus, Sophie Woods, Jason Bean, and will next feature SUNY Oswego a cappella group, Impromptu, at their holiday shows this December! “It’s so nice to share the flavor of the area musicians with our audiences – they get a full experience and all their senses are well attended to”!

And the cherry on top at the end of the evening – after food and the show – why, prizes of course! TDJ has partnered with JP Jewelers and this part of the evening is themed as well and some lucky patron leaves with some shiny loot. It may be for solving a murder or simply dressing in their “best” according to the theme of the show, but it’s a whole lot of fun! “We are grateful to our gracious partners at the jewelry store as their contribution of fine jewelry truly makes the experience one to remember – since they can take it home and cherish it”, said Wilkinson.

So come on out and enjoy MORE at a Theatre Du Jour dinner theatre experience! Tickets for their holiday show Every Christmas Story Ever Told (and then some) are available NOW at dujourcny.com
