On Thursday September 7th The King Of Clubs (404 S. Clinton St.) was swinging to the soulful rock of The Black River, led by SU lacrosse alumni and North Country native Mike Powell. The band also includes:
John Hanus – Guitar/Pedal Steel
Joe Bell – Bass/Vocal
Dom Scicchitano – Drums/Percussion
Shane Kelsen – Keys/Vocal
This band deftly tears through their originals with precision and power.

Recorded by Brett Walts, Seth Goldberg
Mixed by Indigo Audio Co.
Filmed & Edited by The FRZR

The Sadies hit the stage within minutes of the last of the Black River songs. Blistering guitar solos and a tight rhythm section made this four piece band sound twice as large! The band consists of brothers Dallas and Travis Good on guitar, Sean Dean on stand-up bass and Mike Belitsky on drums. The Sadies sound swings from twangy surf-rock licks to lightening fast fiddling (brother Travis!) and over to a mellow, acoustic, traditional country western feel. Throw in a little psychedelic grooving while you’re at it!
