Theatre Du Jour brings The Hilarious Hillbilly Massacre To The Table For Halloween Season
Cocktail hour 5:30pm / Dinner 6:30pm / Show 7:30pm
Presented in dinner theatre format, The Birchbumble family, a wild and fun loving clan from deep in the hills of Tennessee, is having a family reunion and you, being close relatives, are invited.
Everyone is promised a hog slappin’ good time.
However, before the moonshine starts flowin’, evil befalls the festivities.
A barbaric I.R.S. agent crashes the party and demands that the Birchbumbles pay all the back taxes they owe or the government will confiscate the premises immediately.
The Birchbumbles don’t take easily to threats, so the agent is bumped off.
There’s more murder and mayhem and a lot of merriment as the Birchbumbles stage their own auditions for Hee Haw.
Talent like theirs must be seen to be believed. Be sure to attend this long-awaited reunion.
Come in your hillbilly best – that means dress to impress – for the chance to win prizes courtesy of our 2017 season sponsors at JP Jewelers.
It may be the last chance you have to party with the “in bred” crowd.
Director Jennifer Snow is plum tickled to bring an all-star local CNY cast to this production.
New to TDJ are Jim Byrne (TANYS Merit Award Winner), Derek Potocki (SALT/SAMMY Award Nominee), Hailey Thompson and Yvonne Fever White.
You’ll remember TDJ favorite Beverly Poznoski (Bingo – A Winning Musical) and TDJ’s own Artistic Director, Tammy Wilkinson (Murder at the Prom) as they round out the cast for this interactive hillbilly experience.
Your dinner theatre experience includes:
The best local cuisine
The best local talent
A stellar, proven interactive murder mystery
Music and cocktail hour
Contests and giveaways
Fab photo opportunities
Talk back with the actors
An interactive experience to remember
