Don’t call her a blues musician Miss E is much more than that. Miss E and The Resonators put on a great intimate performance at SubCat Studios for Soundcheck this past Monday evening.
Miss E gave us a short but sweet set of several of her original songs. I asked her who she was influenced by, “The Beatles, Stevie Wonder, Anne Lenox and more”. It might be because I am a fan of the Beatle’s music, that I could definitely hear John Lennon and George Harrison coming through her words and guitar style.
She is a passionate singer, songwriter and guitarist. The semi autobiographic nature of her songs gave us all a little insight to a bright, caring soul. As Miss E states, “All her music is made in Central New York”.
She is one of CNY Alive’s hometown favorites.
